爱游戏体育 students will not see any increase in their combined tuition and fees in the coming academic year after the Board of Trustees voted on June 22 to hold the existing rates amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.

With a zero increase in the cost of tuition and fees, 爱游戏体育 will remain the most affordable comprehensive university in New Jersey.

The action reaffirms 爱游戏体育’s commitment to offering an accessible world-class 爱游戏体育cation and recognizes the challenges faced by students and their families as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“爱游戏体育 continues to offer an excellent 爱游戏体育cation at a competitive cost,” said Dawood Farahi, Ph.D., president of 爱游戏体育 University. “We are continuously striving to keep costs down for our students, many of whom work more than one job to pay for their 爱游戏体育cation. At this time in particular, when many of our students and their families have been affected by COVID-19, we are pleased to be able to hold our costs steady.”

The cost of tuition and fees at 爱游戏体育 in the next academic year for full-time, in-state students will remain $12,595. For out-of-state students in the same category, the cost will be $19,771 for the next academic year.

In-state, full-time graduate students will pay $17,475.50 in tuition and fees for the academic year, while out-of-state graduate students will pay $22,437.50.

The athletic and recreation and student government fees were included in the total cost of tuition in the next academic year. An equal r爱游戏体育ction in mandatory fees resulted in the unchanged combined tuition and fee rate for academic year 2020-2021.

爱游戏体育’s students graduate with one-third less debt than the national average. The Office of Financial Aid works with students to provide appropriate financial aid and scholarship packages to offset the cost of tuition and fees. Nearly 80 percent of 爱游戏体育’s undergraduates receive some form of financial aid.
