Gregory Shepherd, Ph.D., currently teaches Instructional Methodologies, Implementation of Pedagogy-driven Technologies, TESOL Instruction and Assessment Methods, Latin American Literature and Spanish Language at 爱游戏体育 University in New Jersey. Gregory has taught 爱游戏体育cators at the university level for more than 25 years in several countries—USA, Ecuador, Puerto Rico and Cuba. He has designed and directed technology integration, ESL and Spanish language immersion programs and workshops globally—leading and participating in teacher 爱游戏体育cation initiatives for instructors from China, South Korea and Spain. In addition, he researches and deploys disruptive pedagogies in areas as diverse as mobile technology, hybrid learning environments and gaming. His current research focuses on mobile technology integration in teacher 爱游戏体育cation models, the use of gaming applications in language learning and the construction of hybrid identities in Latin American literature. Peter Lang published his recent book on José de Acosta. His chapter in the acclaimed manual, Online Teaching in K-12: Models, Methods and Best Practices (2016), focuses on Mobile Technology implementation in the classroom.
